Many years ago, when I was still in college, I worked at a large law firm. That job is actually where I got my first taste of web design. They had an old html website that needed to be updated with new attorney profiles and as an Administrative Assistant, that fell under my job roles. I had tinkered with websites before but hadn’t had any professional training to speak of and there wasn’t anyone to help me. I jumped right in and figured out how to make the updates, along with learning Photoshop to make adjustments to profiles and anything else that needed to be done. It was a great way to learn in a ‘baptism by fire’ sort of way. I will still say that was my favorite job, it’s even where I met my husband. It’s been a while since I’ve been in the legal field, but it all came rushing back when I had the opportunity to work with Jarom Bishop on a site for his new law office.
We wanted to keep it very clean and professional but still stand out from other attorneys in the area. I love the boldness of the black and white, clean lines, and crisp imagery to pull it all together. Plus, he and his wife are some of the nicest people you’ll meet so that made the project even more fun!
